Each year, the Bar 1802 and Hotel Monte Cristo teams organise meetings of the Rum Society. The hotel rooms are transformed to offer and host personalised tastings led by specialists from the biggest rum grandes maisons. These experts present their exquisite nectars and invite you to share all the fabulous flavours.

The Rum Society 2022

This spring, take advantage of the two weekends in May offered by the Rum Society and discover the incredibly rich world of rum. Our teams always seek to provide an overview of the producers’ savoir-faire and all the major production locations. This is your opportunity to meet passionate specialists with whom you can chat and who will guide you in tasting original rums from exceptional terroirs. As a beginner, you will learn the basics of rum tasting and discover the incredible diversity of flavours this spirit offers. We’ll publish the list of rum producers participating in the event soon.
