Beautiful gourmet surprises for Easter

Spring is here and with this glorious season comes Easter and its gourmet specialities. The Hotel Monte Cristo and its restaurant Le Grand Dictionnaire have decided to celebrate the occasion with dignity by offering you a special menu, as well as several surprises to discover in the Bar 1802 and in your room. Here’s a mouthwatering preview…

Tradition and creativity

Easter evokes a certain number of culinary traditions and the chef of the Grand Dictionnaire delights in honouring them. However, he has also taken the opportunity to offer his diners original creations. Thus, you can discover an appetisingly fresh starter of cucumber soup spiced with Greek curry yoghurt ice cream and crunchy hazelnuts. This is followed by a mi-cuit gilthead sea bream sublimated with a lemongrass emulsion, a perfect lead-in to a traditional rack of lamb seasoned with pickled broad beans and wild garlic. And when the time comes for dessert, you can choose to enjoy it at the table or in the Bar 1802…

A sublime combination

To conclude your Easter repast or just to enjoy an exquisite moment of sweetness in the Bar 1802, succumb to the temptation of the chocolate mousse, milk and chocolate sauce and cocoa tuile seasoned with rum specially selected from the Bar 1802 cellar. This rum and chocolate combination will yield to you all its flavours, both powerful and subtle, to create a flurry of exquisite pleasures. Finally, an extra little treat for our guests… On April 9th, Easter Sunday, you will find in your room a helping of delicious and crunchy Plumette chicken, garnished with fries...
